A Rainy Day...

Hi again! Gosh, I can't believe that I'm actually updating my blog again, after my last one (last night). I'm at the Cyber Cafe though, as it struck me that this will be a short update. I'm pretty chilled in this air-conditioned CC. It rained today (but I bet you already know that from the title, don't you?), making today bit cooler than ever.

I was at Pameran Pengantin yesterday, held at Midvalley Megamall (Not that I was there for that particular exhibition, though, but I just came across a 'pintu gerbang' written "Pameran Pengantin". Ahhh, sounds good, that I just stepped in) There were too many booths there that I even circled around the same booths for a few times. Not that I got lost, but I couldn't find the exit door haha. There were almost everything related to weddings there (for sure, blimey).

I went to a wedding photographer booth, looking at those pictures in the albums that they had. Damn, there were bloody nice pictures. (I was rather attracted to the photography techniques that used than the people in the pictures, though)

A guy who was in charge for the booth came to me, handing out a brochure.
Guy : Weddingnya kat mana? Da ada plan?
Me : Err, takde lagi. Just tengok-tengok dulu.
Guy : Oh, okay ahah. Silalah.
Then, I was at a catering booth. A middle-aged lady gave their brochure.
Lady : Majlisnya kat mana?
Me : Tak tahu la lagi tu. Sebab plan pun tak lagi haha.
Lady : Oh, kalau dah ada, eloklah sebab masa pameran ni kitorang ada buat promosi itu ini.
Heck yes, all the booths are giving discounts and such. I wondered, will I be able to have such opportunities for my wedding. Discounts, you folk. That can save a lot of fulus. Wowo.

Thinking of this however remind me of what my Bio lecturer used to said in class.
Lecturer : You know what, this is the time for you to enjoy what you are having. (The life we're having before it gets to working phase, as the adults do, he meant)
*the class was quiet, so he continued*
Lecturer : Boys, do you know what time is it?
(I thought he was actually referring to the 'time'. Well, of course he did. The watch I mean. The clock)
*The students were still quiet, though, so he continued again*
Lecturer : It's time to get married, before getting to work. Not working and then get married. And girls, do you know what time is it?
*Still, no one else talk, that he continued again*
Lecturer : It's time to get a partner (to be your husband). A matured one, but of course you yourself have to be matured too.
However, he didn't tell why did he say so. I mean, it couldn't be that easy. And I haven't yet asked him. Well, maybe tomorrow. I have a Bio class early in the morning. (And I haven't finished my Bio Lab Report. Damn. And he wanted it by Monday, tomorrow. Damn. Damn. Damn)

Till later then. Bye.

p.s : There was one wedding card booth with sooo nice card designs. Posters, English styles, retro and blah blah blah.
p.s.s : People don't use 'kad wangi' anymore, I guess.
p.s.s.s : There was a maknyah at a booth. And 'she' even gave me a brochure. Oh gosh, I hope I can remember which one so that I can throw it away.
